Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School
When: Monday, July 27 - Friday, July 31; 9:00 am-12:30 pm
Where: First UMC
Ages: 3 years (and potty-trained) thru incoming 6th graders
Cost*: $25 for one child; $45 for two children; $60 for family of 3 or more children
*Cost includes one music CD per family and one iron-on transfer per child.
Early registration is encouraged!
FAQs:
Q: Where can I get a registration packet?
A: At the church office, the preschool office, or on Sundays at the VBS table on the patio following church worship.
Q: Where do I turn in my completed registration form and money?
A: You can turn in your form and money to the church office and at that time they will give you the CD and iron-on. You can also turn in your form and money to the preschool office or at the VBS table on Sundays after worship.
Q: I’d like to volunteer; how do I go about contacting someone?
A: Complete the volunteer interest page included in your registration packet and return it to the church office, preschool office, or VBS table, and we will contact you.
Q: Do I need to send my child with a snack?
A: No, daily snacks will be provided.
Q: My child has food allergies, what should I do to notify the church?
A: Please make sure you indicate any allergies when you fill out the back of the registration form.
Q: How can I make sure my child is in the same group as his/her friend?
A: You can include that information on the registration form. If they are the same age we will do everything we can to accommodate the request.
Q: Where do I drop my child off each morning and pick them up afterwards?
A: Drop-off and pick-up will be at the same place each day: on the lawn next to our patio area. Campers will be waiting with their camp counselors on the lawn. If you arrive early for pick-up please wait outside the Fellowship Hall for your child to be dismissed with their group.

Mexico Mission Project - July 19-25
Looking for a summer mission trip this summer? Consider the Mexico Mission Project for 2009 supporting churches of Iglesia Metodista Unida de Mexico, A.R., primarily in the area of the California-Baja California border. Contact David or Val Weise, or Pastor Brian for further information. The 2009 project is open to all ages. Families are welcome!
